Disconnecting the power supply
You need to disconnect the power to the outlet before replacing it. Turn off the power to the circuit you will be using to ensure your safety during the replacement process. If you do not know the location of the power source, you can shut off the power to the entire house.
Removing the globe
Disassemble your chandelier fixture and remove the globe from the chandelier fixture. Hold the globe with one hand and use a screwdriver with the other hand to loosen the nut on the globe. Set the removed globe aside for now.
Disconnect the outlet wiring
Use a screwdriver to unscrew the wire nuts and remove them from each set of wires, then separate the wires completely. You can also disconnect the power cord from the junction box or fixture mounting strap.

Removing the old pendant light socket
Look inside the socket and locate the screws that hold the socket in place. Use a screwdriver to remove the nut. Remove the socket from the fixture.
Install the new pendant light socket
Install the new pendant light socket in the same position as the original socket and secure it with a nut.
Reinstall the clamps
Keep the clamps and connecting wires the same as before, using the same wire connectors. Also reconnect the ground wire. Mount the fixture to the electrical box using the mounting screws. Make sure no wires are sticking out of the fixture base; tighten the fixture.
Turn on the power
Turn on the disconnected power supply to test if the replaced pendant light socket is functioning properly. Whether the light bulb is properly illuminated.
